What is a GPX file for?

Follow paths: It allows you to load an itinerary onto a smartwatch, mobile phone, or mountain GPS so you don’t get lost while hiking, cycling, or running.

Universal compatibility: It works as an open standard that can be opened in almost any navigation program or device without depending on a specific brand.
